The Office of Leadership & Advocacy has two incredible programs to help you learn more about yourself as a leader. For more information about these programs, please check out the links below:
- MPower – a three-day UM contextual and immersion experience for incoming freshmen
- PULSE Leadership – a two-day leadership development program for second-semester sophomore students

Center for Inclusion & Cross Cultural Engagement – Louisiana State University’s Multicultural Student Leadership Conference
The Center for Inclusion & Cross Cultural Engagement (CICCE) will be taking a delegation to Louisiana State University’s Multicultural Student Leadership Conference. This is an opportunity for emerging student leaders to develop further knowledge on topics such as diversity, inclusion, and equity. The conference will be held October 26-27, 2018. Transportation, some meals, and lodging will be provided. There is a $25 registration fee. You can learn more about the conference HERE.
Who? Any full-time student at The University of Mississippi. Interested students should complete the Conference Application Form by Monday, September 17th.
What? Selected participants will travel to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to learn and further develop learning on diversity, inclusion, and equity. If selected, the $25 registration fee will be due by Monday, September 24th.
When? Departing campus on the morning of October 26, 2018 and returning to campus the evening of October 27, 2018.
